Overlaying Euro Sessions with the TradingView Session Indicator

Drawing the trading sessions right on the EURUSD chart makes intraday structure much clearer. TradingView has ready-made session indicators.

Load a session indicator

  1. In indicator search type Sessions and pick a well-rated one (built-in or community);
  2. Configure the three majors — Tokyo / London / New York — with distinct highlights;
  3. Turn on the session high/low option — the key structure for the euro intraday.

The London-open range breakout

A classic euro intraday play: Tokyo usually builds a tight range, and the London open breaks out of it — trade with the break. The indicator auto-marks the Tokyo range's highs and lows; you just wait for a high-volume London break and stop back inside the range.

Tip: session highs/lows are natural support/resistance too — the London high often becomes a New-York reference. Daylight-saving shifts the sessions, so recalibrate. For the logic behind the sessions, see euro trading sessions.
